Wellspring for Unitarian Universalists
UU Wellspring is a heart-opening small-group experience grounded in deep listening.
Working with a spiritual director (or companion) is a unique and important aspect of the program. As an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, Kelly offers spiritual direction grounded in Unitarian Universalism. Clients say it is a relief to have a UU spiritual director. There is so much less translating!
Each session is one hour and begins with a chalice lighting and guided meditation. From this place, you are invited to share a sacred question or opportunity. It is not a “yes or no” question; it is open and explores possibilities. What opportunity is facing you now? It may be related to your Wellspring experience or your own ever-evolving theology. It may related to your everyday life! Together, you and Kelly will listen, feel and notice. What is your inner teacher or true self saying? Who is it asking you to be? The conversation will happen not just from the mind, but from energy that is moving in your life and your inner teacher. If you're interested, Kelly can help you explore somatic (body-based) practices, nature-based practices, and/or ways to dismantle white supremacy culture in your life. But the agenda and topics are set by you. All sessions end with extinguishing the chalice and gratitude.
