Nature Practices

When we lose connection to nature we no longer experience the amazing life system that supports us. Further, we forget that we are nature - one with all. Develop practices to connect, honor and reciprocate with the natural world.
Each session is 60 minutes and held by video using Zoom. If you want to meet in a group, we can do that in person, according to COVID guidelines.
We begin with a meditation that orients us to the four directions, giving thanks to the elements and land on which we/you reside. We quiet the mind, center and ground. Then the session is a mix of teaching, reviewing what you have practiced in the time between our meetings, and guided meditations. In four sessions, you will learn and practice:

- Orienting to your own yard or balcony and neighborhood
- Feeling the elements of air, water, earth and fire and how they offer us spiritual support
- Walking sacredly
- Finding a sit spot where you can go regularly to practice and unite with nature
- Engaging all your senses through tracking, smelling, listening, touching and watching
- Listening to bird language
- Connect to the rhythms of the day, month and year
- Meditations to communicate with plants, trees, stones and animals
- Developing a practice of thanksgiving and reciprocity
- Keeping a nature journal
- Allowing nature to show you the beauty and wholeness that the rest of the world may not be able to show you
- Discerning your role in protecting the Earth and planet

When you book your first session, Kelly will send you the Agreement by email, and you can reply to that email saying "yes" you agree. If you have changes, we'll make them! You will also have the opportunity to choose the rate you want to pay.
