Spiritual Direction for Faith Leaders and Religious Professionals
Preparing for a profession in faith leadership, and then actually serving as a religious professional, is a beautiful and eventful journey! If you are a clergy person, seminarian, religious educator or any other type of faith leader, spiritual direction and companioning offers you support on that journey and helps you deepen spiritually as you go.
Sessions are one hour and begin with the practice of alignment - centering, grounding, releasing all distractions. From this place, you are prepared to expand awareness and listen. You are invited to bring sacred questions or opportunities to the sessions. These are not “yes or no” questions; they are open inquiries that explore possibilities. What opportunity is facing you now? Together, you and Kelly will bring that question or opportunity into the space you have created and sit long enough for the space to speak.
As we work together, you will become more adept at determining where you must grow in order to experience more of your true Self - your spiritual nature. We will tend to that growth together.
Kelly has served as a minister in entrepreneurial, congregational and justice settings. She has offered pastoral care to people in those contexts as well as in hospital and hospice settings. Sessions can be held in person in Denver, Colorado - indoors at Kelly's office, or outdoors for direct contact with nature. Sessions by phone or video work really well, too.
